The same platform, from the mission's side
What the traveller uses to find their embassy, the mission uses to find its citizens. An operations portal built on the same data, for the people who answer the phone.
- Assistance cases reach the competent mission with the citizen's nationality, position (with consent) and a channel back — not an email in a shared inbox.
- When the citizen's own state has no mission where they are, the case goes to the EU mission that can help, in the order Directive 2015/637 establishes.
- Official hazard detections (European Commission JRC/GDACS, USGS) are queued to the competent missions with a pre-drafted bilingual alert.
- Alerts are issued only by the mission, never by the system. Every action is audited.

Next: the alert on your phone
Official hazard events already appear in your destination briefing, with their source. What comes next is the alert itself: a notification when the risk where you are changes, issued only once the competent mission has confirmed it. In development — founding backers make it happen.
