Refund Policy

This refund policy outlines the conditions under which Telcomia may issue refunds for eSIM purchases, in compliance with EU consumer protection regulations.
1. Your Right of Withdrawal
Under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, consumers in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of the purchase, without giving any reason.
However, eSIM data plans are digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium. Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the supply of digital content has begun, provided that:
- You gave your prior express consent for the performance to begin during the withdrawal period;
- You acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal; and
- We provided you with confirmation of the contract, including confirmation of your consent and acknowledgement.
In practice: During checkout, you are asked to tick a box confirming your consent and acknowledging the loss of the right of withdrawal. Once your eSIM profile has been generated, performance has begun and the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
If your eSIM profile has not yet been generated, you retain the full right of withdrawal within 14 days.

3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email support@telcomia.com with:
- Your order number
- The reason for your request
- Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshot of error)
Response time: We will respond within 48 business hours.
Refund method: Refunds are processed via the original payment method. Processing time is 5–10 business days from approval.
Under Article 13(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the merchant must reimburse all payments received without undue delay and in any event within 14 days, at no cost to the consumer.
4. Digital Content Conformity
Under Directive (EU) 2019/770 on the supply of digital content, the eSIM must conform with the contract: the data allowance, geographic coverage, and validity period must match what was shown at the time of purchase.
If the digital content is not in conformity, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include: repair (technical resolution), replacement (new eSIM profile), or a proportional refund.

In accordance with Annex I of Directive 2011/83/EU, you may use the following model form to exercise your right of withdrawal (only if you are eligible — see Section 1 above):

Note: If your eSIM profile has already been generated and you gave your express consent during checkout, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (see Section 1).
